USOS is “(…) an IT system used to manage the course of studies at a higher education institution (…)”.
It is an application developed by a consortium of public university institutions, united under the Inter-University Center for IT (MUCI).
After successfully registering in the IRK recruitment system, you will receive a unique identification number for the USOS system (consisting of 6 digits) and a UO email address containing this number, sent to the email address you provided during recruitment. Your email will look as follows:
ID (your 6-digit USOS number)@student.uni.opole.pl
From that moment on, you will use this number to log into your account to, for example, check your grades, subjects, groups, enroll in certain classes, or generate account numbers for payments (e.g., for dormitories, conditions, repeating a semester, or tuition).
