Student Housing

The University of Opole offers over 1,500 accommodation places in four dormitories: Kmicic, Mrowisko, Niechcic, and Spójnik.

A variety of rooms are available to students, differing in layout, size, and standard. Options include single, double, and triple rooms, as well as modular rooms with a private bathroom and kitchenette.

The Kmicic Student Dormitory also offers guest rooms that can be rented on a short-term basis—for example, by part-time students, university staff, or visiting guests.

Detailed descriptions of each dormitory can be found on the website: ds.uni.opole.pl under the Student Dormitories tab.
Contact information is available in the Contact section.

Why is it worth living in a dormitory?

  • Event Center
The UO dormitories are located in an excellent spot—right in the heart of Opole, between Oleska, Czaplaka, Grunwaldzka, and Katowicka streets. This means everything is close by—your classes, the library, meeting friends, or a walk along the Oder River.

  • Just Steps Away from Cafés, Restaurants, and Services
You don’t have to look far—right next to the dormitories, you’ll find cafés, bakeries, shops, drugstores, gyms, and other places that make daily life easier and free time more enjoyable.

  • Close to Culture and Entertainment
From the dormitory, you’re just a few minutes away from Opole’s market square, cinemas, theaters, museums, art galleries, and concert halls. It’s the perfect location if you want to enjoy city attractions, participate in cultural events, and fully embrace student life.

  • Student Life Beats Here
Dormitories are not just a place to live—they’re a hub of meetings and activities. The proximity to student clubs, events organized by the student government, and international integration parties means there’s always something happening!

  • Affordable Accommodation Prices
The cost of staying in a dormitory is significantly lower than renting an apartment on the private market. Current rates can be found on the website: http://ds.uni.opole.pl under the Fees tab.

  • Free Internet Access
Every room is equipped with free internet access—study, stay in touch with loved ones, and enjoy online entertainment without interruptions!
